Tokens/User Reviews

This may have been answered before, but do we have a timeframe for when the tokens will be phased out? Will the tokens expire? I don't want to see them go, but if it is holding up developers from signing up, then they need to go for the sake of Stardock.

I would like to request that a section for user reviews/ratings of games on TGN. I would like to see it in Impulse also. I go down the list of games, most I have no idea about, and it would be useful to know what other TGN users think of the game. Also a link to Metacritic or Gamerankings.com score would be nice (like steam).

Hi Adam,

Tokens won't expire and we'll continue trying to sign up new titles that use them (though these will likely be indie-games). We'll start phasing them out (stop taking new memberships) in mid-June.

The TGN website won't be getting any new features, since it'll be getting phased out slowly along with the tokens. You should expect to see some advanced features like this in Impulse, however.

Thanks for the response Yarlen. Hopefully the user reviews or a metacritic option will be added to impulse.

Metacritic will be going in, though it may not be implemented for Impulse's release.

Hacker Evolution (http://totalgaming.stardock.com/games/?id=hev) is now on sale on Impulse (http://www.impulsedriven.com/hev).

Can the price please be changed at Total Gaming too, so I can get to save a token to use on another game?

I have tried sending a private Message to Yarlen, but he seems inactive, and teh sale only runs this weekend as I see it.

The price for Hacker Evolution has been dropped to 1 token, but you won't see it until you click the buy button (the product pages are static, so their prices won't update).
